Fire Extinguisher Training

P & R Services Fire Extinguisher Training is continuing to go from strength to strength.

We offer 2 Fire Safety Training Courses, Fire Safety in the Workplace and How to Choose and Use Fire Extinguishers, that will provide your staff with a high level of Fire Safety Awareness and teach them the basics of good housekeeping.  Both courses cover the theory side as well as a practical demonstration where participants will discharge Water, Foam and C02 Extinguishers.

By the end of each training course your staff will have worked their way through our questionnaires and worksheets and will be issued with a training certificate on completion of the training.

Cost per ½ day training course is £255.00 plus VAT for a party of up to 10 maximum and can be carried out over a period of between 3 – 4 hours max.

We would also provide £15.00 x 6 Extinguishers for Practical Demo for your Staff to Discharge in the Practical Part of the course, alternatively if you had any old extinguishers lying around on any of your sites we would be happy to use these.

We are pleased to announce that we have been recommended for ISO 9001:2008 by UKAS.

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.

Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators.

Achieving this accreditation is testament that P & R Services has all the required structures and procedures in place to ensure that customers receive a consistently high level of service whilst giving the company a competitive advantage when competing for new business and tenders.

New Website

We celebrated the start of the new year with the launch of our new and improved website, www.safetytesting.org, which went live at the end of January.

We worked closely with local web design company Print 4 Property for several months to create a site that is attractive, clean and easy to navigate and are delighted with the result. 

Our new website gives future and current clients information about the wide range of services P & R Services offer, including PAT Testing, Fixed Wire Testing, Fire Extinguisher servicing and supply, Fire Alarm testing and Emergency Lighting testing.  It also gives them the information they need to ensure that they comply with all legal requirements.
